In a thrilling season finale, the Spartans took on UNLV in a hard-fought battle. Despite the 3-0 loss, the match was filled with standout performances that deserve recognition.
Fatimah Hall, a consistent force throughout the season, delivered yet another remarkable display, achieving her 14th double-double with 22 assists and 17 digs. Lolo Fonua led the team in kills, while Ava Hewitt-Smith contributed seven kills and a crucial solo block.
And this is where history was made: Hewitt-Smith's solo block brought her season total to 36, matching the legendary Felicia Schulter's record from 1983 for the fifth-highest solo blocks in the school's history. A remarkable achievement indeed!
