Xiaomi Gears Up for a Comprehensive Brand Rollout Ahead of Lunar New Year

BEIJING, Dec. 14 – In the run-up to the Lunar New Year, Xiaomi is gearing up for a significant product rollout, described by tech insiders as its ambitious “Full Ecosystem” unveiling. The event is expected to unfold over the next few weeks, with multiple launches lined up.
At the centerpiece of the lineup is the Xiaomi 17 Ultra, announced to feature a brand-new 1-inch main camera developed in collaboration with Leica, built around the domestic OmniVision OV50X sensor. The device is also said to include a 50-megapixel ultra-wide camera and a 200-megapixel periscope telephoto lens.
Beyond the flagship, the ecosystem push encompasses two MediaTek-powered mid-range handsets (the Redmi Turbo 5 and Turbo 5 Pro), a new fully smart wearable running Android/Xiaomi HyperOS with eSIM support, a pair of new headphones, a mid-range tablet, and a variety of new IoT devices. Notably, the Redmi Turbo 5 is expected to debut globally as the launch vehicle for MediaTek’s Dimensity 8500 chipset.
This expanded lineup signals Xiaomi’s strategic emphasis on a tightly integrated ecosystem, spanning devices from mobile phones to wearables and smart home products, all designed to work together under a unified software and service layer.
